Cespim srl (agency for SME’s innovation) has been established in 1986 as technical structure of CONFAPI (Italian Confederation of the Small and Medium Enterprises which today represents more than 90.000 associated enterprises employing about 1 million of workers). CESPIM realizes and promotes programs financed by the European Union for vocational training and development of SMEs. CESPIM promotes dialogue, exchange of experiences and collaboration with other organizations that operate in the same direction to carrying out of studies and researches on economic, financial, legal, sociological and corporate field, both at national and international level, especially in the fields of training, technological innovation, commercial and organizational. The activity of CESPIM is aimed also to the promotion and implementation of training programs for the development of entrepreneurial skills, the professional development of executives and professionals and training for youth. It organizes training course for SME employees in different fields (foreign languages; IT; communication). CESPIM participates in the definition of training policies in the appropriate national and European level, including the Steering Committee of the Leonardo da Vinci program; the Steering Committee of the EQUAL program; Commission for monitoring and evaluation of the experiments on the certification of skills for Vocational Training. CESPIM uses to manage several EU funded projects in cooperation with universities, schools, trade unions and business organizations.
